Just a random sound i created in my piano. Originally it supposed to be a music, but after i failed making it, i decided to cut this part out. The first one is the original version and the rest were alternate versions i created. Feel free to use them. Made in 3ml piano editor.

My fmc002 submission!. For this, i generated several sounds from audiopaint (free software) and spectrobits (free vsti), two image->sound synthesis softwares. These sounded interesting but i wasn't sure how to use them. Then i made a drum beat, synth bassline, and some other stuff, rendered the song, used paulstretch to stretch the song out 4x, put it back in the project, added even more stuff to other tracks (mostly timestretched versions of my own samples), rendered the result, brought that render back into the daw, and then reversed it. A lot of effects and automation were also used during all 3 stages of the track's creation. Further, each time i rendered, i used the same mastering chain, so eq and other stuff is being applied multiple times. This brings out some surprising timbres and overtones. Really, the final recording sounds nothing like the sounds i began with.

This is a recording i got sat outside a retro clothes shop on portobello road in london. Distant music combined with the market and people walking past creates a busy scene with the busy road that runs over the top of the market giving a nice base to fill out the recording. This sound is free to use but i'd love to see what it is used in!.

This is a quick fire sound i made using qubodup's "swing 25" public domain/cc0 upload on this site. It's a bamboo stick swinging, which i layered and toyed with to get the results here. For those curious, here are the steps. * i took the file into reaper, and slowed the file's playback rate to 31% of the original. * i then duplicated the file three times, for a total of 4 tracks. * track 1 (lowish gas-burner sound):- reverb (drum-room impulse response, a medium-sounding reverb with a slight deadness to it. In free impulse loader reverberate le, stretched impulse to 150% and set attack time to 0. 218s). - eq (-8db bandpass near 200hz, rising back to 0 by the 1k mark. Low-pass applied at 5. 8khz). * track 2 (lowest of sounds, like a bassy gas-burner):- chorus effect. That's it. (specifically acon digital multiply, a free plugin, set to the "romantic" preset). * track 3 (not as low as track 2, but closer to track 2 than 1)- reverb (a large hall impulse response. No adjustments, ie. No increased attack or stretching like for track 1. ). -chorus doubler (free plugin duet, preset: "basic doubler. While messing around in audacity i accidentally made this. I generated dial sounds and g-verb'd it. I then put a high pass filter on it and paulsteached it. And made this. This is a section of a recording i did when a school nearby had a field day. There's a decent part in the middle, where the wind sound is practically gone. I used some filters to take out the wind sound as much as possible, but the high end whistling of the wind is still a bit audible. Feel free to use this in anything!.

While making an ambient track simulating a fortune teller's caravan, i designed 3 sounds in pro tools by layering and editing presets within ambience and soft pads. They add a bit of magical flare when the tarot card reader turns over a card. This sound can be used for any kind of transition, item acquisition, quest accomplished, or other quick sound effect which needs a light, magical quality.
